This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds and cancellations are handled for services provided by Groundwale, including ground bookings, sports events, tournaments, and related services.

By using Groundwale services or making payments, you agree to the terms stated below.

Note: Groundwale reserves the right to approve or decline cancellation requests depending on the situation.

Tournament & Event Registration

Cancellation terms for competitive events

Within 48 hours of payment

70% refund

After 48 hours, before fixtures finalized

50% refund

After fixtures / teams announced

No refund

Registration slots once confirmed may not be transferable without approval from Groundwale.

Refund Processing

How approved refunds are returned

If a refund is approved, it will be processed using one of the following methods:

UPI transfer

Bank transfer

Original payment method (if paid via gateway)

Timeline: 5–10 business days depending on the payment channel.

Non-Refundable Charges

Charges that are never refunded

Platform or service fees

Payment gateway charges

Marketing or promotional costs related to tournaments

Administrative charges where applicable

Event Cancellation by Groundwale

What happens when we cancel

If an event is cancelled by Groundwale due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, government restrictions, safety concerns, venue unavailability, or operational reasons — users will be offered:

Full refund

Rescheduling of booking

Credit for future Groundwale services

Payment Disputes

How to raise a transaction issue

For any payment disputes or issues related to transactions made through UPI, Bank Transfer, or Payment Gateway, users must contact Groundwale support with:

Transaction ID

Payment proof

Booking details

Must be raised within 7 days of the transaction.

Refund Exceptions

Cases where refunds are denied

Groundwale reserves the right to deny refund requests in cases of:

Violation of platform rules

Misconduct during events

Fraudulent or disputed transactions

Incorrect booking details provided by the user

Cricket match
